Lauren's Wish List 2022

It’s that time of year again! Here’s my wish list, this year with a focus on my new home. Since we lived in a smaller place prior to this home, there’s lots to fill in! And since it’s a house from 1905, it’s in need of some updates, both major and minor. Paint, a dining room table and a little refresh in our primary bathroom are a few things I am honing in on. Read below to see what I’ve got my eye on.

Paint, paint and more paint! We are planning on painting many spaces in 2023 and here are some of my favorite colors. The entry hall will be this rich and sultry deep reddish-purple by Backdrop. A breath of fresh air and a little pop of color in the primary bath, and last but not least a warm neutral to tone down the kitchen.

Finding the perfect dining table for our house has been quite a challenge. Our dining room is small, but we want to max out the seating and of course it has to be stunning. This table by Made Goods meets both goals, and my husband loves it too!

It’s no secret that I love nail polish. This set delivers all the holiday sparkle.

The drapery hardware in our primary bathroom is in major need of an update. This simple lucite and brass rod from Ballard Designs is simple, yet elegant.

In our living room, we definitely need some drapery tie-backs. I love these whimsical Serpentine tie-backs from Anthropologie.

More storage in our primary bath would be amazing and this bath cabinet fits the bill.

We could always use some more seating, especially during the holidays. This pouf and this pouf are adorable and affordable. A win-win!

We are so lucky to have an amazing solarium to house all of our plants, but in the winter there isn’t as much privacy, since it’s all glass. This rattan shelf could hold a ton of plants while acting as a screen.

Did I mention how much I love nail polish? This two tone color is so fun and this color-changing nail polish definitely makes the cut!

My fiddle leaf fig is really starting to outgrow it’s pot. This planter by CB2 is adorable and just the right size.

After we repaint my son’s bathroom, I know we will need new towels in there. These towels are a great color and price and I love the pattern/texture.

I’ve been eyeing this jewelry company for a couple of years now. This ring makes such a statement!

With a six year old, being an interior designer, and just generally hauling things everywhere, this bag seems like a dream! It even has wheels and can fit grocery bags.

I love peacocks! This towel ring, robe hook and tissue paper holder would look amazing in our primary bath.

Also a new mirror in our primary bath needs to happen and this one is cute and just the right size.

Last but not least, a new bench for our primary bedroom.

As always, I had a ton of fun putting together my wish list this year. What’s on your list?

xoxo Lauren
