How to: Style Your Front Door for Fall

Lauren here - Fall is here and I am sharing my favorite seasonal styling tips for your front door/porch!

My husband and I bought a 1905 colonial this past summer and have been fixing it up and decorating these past couple of months. Read below to see what I am visualizing for my front porch fall décor.

  1. A Thonet style rocking chair compliments all designs and is functional, comfortable and cute! In fact, I just bought two on Facebook marketplace for cheap, so they are out there for the picking.

  2. A brass cylinder stool can be used as seating or just a place to set down a cup of coffee or tea.

  3. I love floral arrangements, but they don’t last that long. Consider dried floral which lasts a long time. There are so many options now! I personally love Style Society for dried floral.

  4. These black indoor/outdoor planters are the perfect vessel for the dried floral arrangements.

  5. Elephant ear plants are one of my favorites. These black elephant ear plants are so unique. Make sure to take them inside if it gets below 50 degrees though!

  6. This outdoor marble planter is so pretty and I love the colors in the marble.

  7. I absolutely love these gold transom numbers. They keep with the Victorian feel and make it easy to find our address.

  8. Who doesn’t love terracotta? Especially on a front door. Backdrop has curated colors that are all so good. In fact, I’m planning on painting my den this color too.

  9. These wreaths are amazing and are even more beautiful in person. I bought one and absolutely love it.

  10. I am a huge fan of fun doormats and this one is so good!

  11. Outdoor lanterns are a great way to add in some light with flameless candles.

I hope you found some items you can use for your own porch/front door styling. Let me know in the comments what your favorite piece is or if you have any pieces that you would add in!
