This bedroom is all about the wallpaper! Choosing a bold wallpaper can be intimidating, but limiting it to one wall and pairing it with the right accessories creates the perfect amount of whimsy in any room.

To not detract from the bold wallpaper, we keep an overall neutral base on the bedding, but bring in texture. Sheets with a subtle pattern that relates to the theme of the wallpaper adds to the whimsy, but keeps it overall neutral. On top, layer a neutral duvet, that brings in some texture, like these tufted dots. To elevate the bedding to the boldness of the wallpaper, we bring in bold blankets that pull from the color palette. This Williams Sonoma one comes in lots of colors!

In this bedroom, we maximized space and function by using a dresser between the beds instead of nightstands. This created a surface to accessorize. A lamp in a kids room is a great opportunity to have some fun! We love the whimsy this flower lamp adds to the space. Adding another layer, coordinating with the color palette, is a small ceramic animal. Also, don’t be afraid to lean art against the wall like we did on this dresser!

Simple art can be brought to life with a colorful mat. Choosing colors from the wallpaper elevate these simple drawings into a bold statement that balances having the wallpaper on only one wall.
