Pam's Outfit to Look

This outfit immediately grabbed my attention on a lot of levels. Its' ad-hoc vibe, beautifully layered and combined, and feels very un-fashion.Yes please! A classic jean jacket. The color caramel. Printed bold floral softened by the texture of fleece and slouchy oversized shape. The green crew neck sweater could have been from a J.Crew catalogue circa 1988, and reads masculine/feminine, tailored and current.  Another bold  but classic accessory played out with the green beanie as a wink of charm.

The Room

The Translation Process

When approaching a room, building it from the floor up is a fun way to start.  Swedish - inspired shag wool rug coupled with a Samarkand c.1950's rug play so well together in texture and pattern. Classic tailoring from the antique casegoods and bespoke upholstery endure and seem more exciting when paired with current lighting and accessories.  Interactive elements, much like the beanie, that we take on-and-off throughout the day hit the sences both visually and sensorally. A Turkish velvet Ikat pillow, Malachite desk lamp from Fedele Papagni and Lobmeyr glassware. A sculptural black concrete side table brings a nod to the contemporary.
