Get the Look: Classic Cottage Sunroom

For this week’s Get the Look, we are looking at Annie and Ryan’s classic cottage sunroom! I pulled together pieces similar to those we used in their sunroom to create a cozy space to gather. All items used in this Get the Look are linked below.

The focal point in this airy sunroom is the star pendant used over the table - picking an interesting shape creates a big impact. Wallpapering a ceiling is one of our favorite ways to add another layer to the room. In this sunroom we chose a star pattern to relate to the motif of the pendant over the table.

Adding vintage art, like a pair of vintage landscapes, adds character and soul to the space. On the floor, we used a terracotta tile in a unique shape to add interest while playing into the earthy tones of the space. Around the table, these bistro chairs fit perfect with the classic style.

On the table we added a glass tray to become a landing space for useful things, like the linen napkins. No sunroom is complete without a plant. You can pick a color that coordinates with your space like this yellow orchid!

A Place to Call Home by Gil Schafer is a wonderful read and perfectly fitting of this space.
